Configurable Business Logic for Roaming Steering
The steering is done by CALLUP SoR Business Logic, through a configurable, event driven scenario. It provides a flexible, dynamic engine platform for developing and configuring roaming steering logic and meeting new business needs, without the need for changes in the program code.

Friendly, Comprehensive Reports
The CALLUP Steering of Roaming engine is based on a configurable intuitive business logic that automatically evaluates received roaming events, utilizes data from the CALLUP SIM OTA repository and applies the most appropriate action. These actions range from friendly welcome messages to roaming steering by refreshing the PLMN (Public Land Mobile Network)  file. The advanced CALLUP SoR business logic allows carriers to determine lists of groups/countries/networks in the PLAMN file. The roaming lists are updated dynamically putting the prioritized networks for the subscriber’s current zone in the first positions. CALLUP Steering of Roaming method uses the standard SIM Toolkit Refresh command to enable an instant effect after roaming list updates. Additional specialized SIM Application Toolkits (STKs) such as Bill Shock Preventer can be used as well.
New revenue stream from seamless and automatic access to Wi-Fi hotspots for data communications.

Operators can now save femtocell and roaming costs by switching calls automatically and seamlessly from cellular to IP networks.

CALLUP Wi-Fi Calling, RCS complient, is both an alternative to installing femtocel, and a solution for reducing roaming costs. It diverts calls from the circuit switched path to the IP data path (3G or Wi-Fi) when possible, and still generates CDRs for the operator. The entire process is completely transparent to the user, who uses his regular phone user interface to make a call and does not feel that his phone .calls are transferred through a Wi-Fi hotspot.

Roam Home SMS diverts SMS from the Circuit Switched path to the IP data path (cellular or Wi-Fi) when possible and still generates CDR’s for the operator.

Roam Home Callback is a seamless low-cost complementary roaming service, anywhere - while mimicking a normal call experience.
Voice Capture
  • Seamlessly captures an outgoing voice call from being sent over the circuit switch network, and diverts it to the data network while the subscriber is on roaming. User maintains regular dialer user experience.
  • Does not need VPMN’s approval to reduce rates.

  • Seamlessly captures an outgoing voice call from being sent over the circuit switch network, imitates an outgoing call experience (fake dial tone, fake dialer), sends a background SMS, and auto-answers incoming callback call.

  • The quality of the IP network is always monitored. The call will be routed to IP only if it can sustain an excellent quality and user experience.

The system is written in the latest programming libraries such as jQuery, jQueryUI and HTML5 to increase ease of use.

Main System components:
Call Flow Editor -  Allows to edit service flows. Drop basic elements like play, record, get DTMF, etc. Use advanced objects like web service integration or javascript. Connect the elements and publish the application, and you have your call flow ready in minutes!
Media Manager - Easily drag and drop from your PC to the server media files. Incorporate those later in your call flow. Being an HTML5 application, the files can be played back using nothing but the web browser, using a simple preview click on the media or on the flow object itself.
Variable System -
Application global variables can be defined by the application programmer. This enables easy control of the application logic, for example to create counters for limiting number of loops, storing password info etc.
Default variables are automatically created for each call, such as the caller number, called number, redirect number etc.
CALLUP's Mobile Marketing Platform - BMS is specifically designed to manage bulk multimedia messaging services such as MMS, WAP-Push, Email and plain text SMS for mobile networks.
