OTA

OTA (Over the Air) is a set of services that allows automatic or manual provisioning of handsets in a mobile network and provides advanced inventory management at the device level.

CallUp´s OTA services can automatically detect new combinations of SIM cards and mobile devices and, based on business rules, take decisions whether the device settings should be reconfigured.

The following are a few of the new capabilities that OTA include:

  • Provisioning over the air (MDM) of:

  • Managing the permissions and content of groups of phones – useful for managing fleet of devices by enterprises.
  • [Optional] Firmware updates over the air (FOTA) compliant with OMA FUMO_1.0.
