Emoticons  are similar to the Background Effects but play the sounds for 3 seconds only. The subscriber can play fun sound(s) during a conversation by pressing one or more of the phone’s key(s). When an Emoticon is being used, the DTMF sound is filtered so that both parties only hear the emoticon sound.

At the press of a key (DTMF), the system, nearly instantly, plays a assigned sound. 

Additional, the subscriber can:

• switch off the service during the call
• copy the other party’s sounds instantly
• modify the volume
• stop playback (in the event that a song is beeng played)
